A New Era of Blogging

Hello everyone! I've been wanting to move my old site off of neocities for forever but just haven't really figured out the best way to do that. I mostly just wanted more control and flexibility, I knew I wanted something more functional that I could build with eleventy because it makes setting up a whole website so much easier, but I was stuck on the design process for a while.

Eventually I remembered a site I bookmarked called cssbed that links to a billion classless CSS themes. Classless just means that they edit basic HTML and don't really do anything with custom elements, which was perfect for me. I ended up going with writ and then modifying the hell out of it to support image hovers, colors, a dark mode, etc.

So that's how this site was made.

What is this for?

I'll mostly be using this for more "serious business" like research projects, devlogs, writing projects, and talking about art in general... I do stream and I have a lot of opportunities to talk there, but I've never been into vlogging, but I do love blogging.

I've migrated anything worth keeping off of my ko-fi, so you can read my old devlogs in the blog archive. Don't worry though, I won't be deleting the original posts, but I just needed a way to share my writing/progress that wasn't ko-fi's terrible text editor that doesn't even support markdown?!

...Anyway, I'll also be updating the gallery and written pages with any important projects, though all of my more experimental doodles/thoughts and weeknotes will be on klug.page.
